To tell the truth I don’t know much more about the country than I saw in TV or read in articles of magazines. But that’s also the main reason I would like to join the Honduras expedition. I am mad for new experiences and interested in learning everything about wildlife in more or less untouched environments of less explored countries. The team could benefit from my experience of “herping” in many different countries of 5 continents. My profession and obsession is photography of nature, especially of Amphibians and Reptiles. But in general all wildlife is interesting for me, including mammals, birds, insects, spiders and plants. In my pictures of animals I try to include the natural background or any actions (such as humans). I think reportage about such an expedition or a little story in each single image is more interesting than just a simple portrait of a specimen, doesn’t matter how beautiful the motive is itself (see attached picture). On the other hand I like to take out details of animals, such as skin, fingers or eyes to accent their specifics.
