Reptile Research

Field research is the cornerstone of herpetology. Beyond the walls of the R&D office and laboratory is where we gather data and synthesize ideas. In keeping with this philosophy, Exo Terra often embarks upon sojourns into the field with world-renowned herpetologists. In addition to our Exo Terra expeditions, the Exo Terra reptile research journeys travel to distant locations throughout the globe with small teams of scientists and herpetologists, in search for specific reptiles, amphibians and their habitats. These journeys result in the gathering of new information and materials that are useful towards conducting and facilitating herpetological research and product development.

“If one way be better than another, that you may be sure is nature's way.”
